The Valley Heritage Ash was an outstanding product with which to work. The milling of the wood, the finish and varieties of length of the flooring were all excellent. I am not a professional floor installer (this was my first project); however, after installing three bedrooms and closets, the trimmings would fit in a five-gallon pail. This is a testament to the quality and length of the hardwood strips. “Just a short note to say that I put a cheque in the mail yesterday morning as payment for the installation of our flooring a week and a half ago. I expect you should get it by the end of the week. As indicated in my letter, we are very happy with the installation. Geoff and his crew (Brad and Josh) did an excellent job. Those guys are true professionals! They checked with me periodically to make sure we were happy with how things were going. They cleaned up after themselves (what a novelty for tradespeople!) They did a beautiful job on the transition pieces between dining room and the kitchen and with the basement hatch. And they treated the flooring as if it was their own. I'd recommend them without hesitation to any of your new or existing customers. Please make sure your managers/owners are aware of their work. Finally, since the inevitable has already happened (i.e. chip in the floor), we were wondering if there is a touch up kit for splinters or chips n the floor? It would be nice to have something in the exact colour of the distressed virginia hickory stain. I'd be happy to order it over the phone if there is.”
